Overview
iChart is an iPad app for creating, editing, saving, exporting, and sharing chord charts and related chart documents. This policy explains what information iChart uses to run the app features you choose.
Information iChart Uses
iChart may use account information such as your name and email address for sign-in, email verification, password recovery, subscription identity, support, and community credit.
Chart content remains local on your device unless you choose a feature that sends it to the service, such as Pro cloud backup or forum publishing.
Charts, Cloud Backup, And Forums
Basic accounts include local chart writing and PDF export. Pro adds unlimited local charts, Projects, cloud backup and restore, and Forums.
Cloud backup stores chart documents and snapshots so your Pro account can restore supported chart data. Forums publish reviewed fixed PDF snapshots, not editable source chart files, source ink, or private local authoring state.
Forum posts, comments, votes, reports, contributor blocks, downloads, moderation events, public visibility, and creator credit are handled by the community service.
Purchases And Subscriptions
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription managed through Apple purchase and restore flows. Apple processes payment information. iChart receives subscription status and StoreKit transaction identifiers needed to verify Pro access with the iChart service.
Support
If you contact support, iChart uses the information you provide to understand and respond to the request. Do not send passwords, verification links, recovery links, payment credentials, or private credentials.
Sharing And Sale Of Data
iChart does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising SDKs. iChart uses Apple-native App Store tools, in-app diagnostics, and support messages you choose to send for release diagnostics and customer support.
Data Requests
Signed-in users can initiate account deletion in the app from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Account deletion removes your iChart account, profile, cloud backup records, forum activity, and forum block records from iChart servers, except for records iChart must keep for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons. Apple manages App Store billing history and subscription cancellation through Apple account tools.
For other privacy or account requests, or if you cannot access the app, contact support@useichart.com from the email tied to your iChart account when possible.
